Altrincham announced that they had re-signed and re-registered experienced goalkeeper Steven Drench on 24 September 2021.

Steven had originally joined the club from Bradford (Park Avenue) on 28 January 2019, following the Yorkshire club's unexpected decision to allow players to leave. After starting out at Blackburn Rovers (2005), where he now works as a coach, Steven played for Morecambe (2006-08) alongside Alty assistant manager Neil Sorvel when the Shrimps gained promotion to the Football League. Next, he joined Southport (2008-09), and subsequently followed Port manager Gary Brabin to Cambridge United on loan.

After leaving the Sandgrounders he signed for Leigh Genesis where he played 45 times (2008–10). A trial at York City came to nothing and, instead, he joined Guiseley, racking up well over two hundred appearances and earning promotion, before moving on loan to FC Halifax Town and then to Bradford PA in 2017, following former Lions' manager Mark Bower to the Horsfall Stadium.

He made his Alty debut against FC United of Manchester on 9 February 2019 but after two further games Steven was sidelined by injury and Tony Thompson resumed as first-choice till the end of the season. Steven started 2019-20 as first-choice keeper but in the sixth game ruptured his Achilles and that ended his season, at the end of which he moved on to Farsley Celtic.

Having announced his retirement at Farsley, his second spell at Moss Lane was intended to be in a coaching role but he has also had to be available to play and has been name don the bench on a number of occasions> With the extension of Matt Gould's loan to Natwich till the end of the season, it is lkely that more may be seen of him in the first-team squad on those rare occasions when the management selects a substitute goalkeeper.

Academy goalkeeper Ryan Forde was issued with shirt number 31 but was not named in a first-team matchday squad in 2021-22.

Matthew's arrival at Moss Lane from Spennymoor Town was revealed on 16 August 2020. By chance he had been in goal for The Moors in what was the last Alty home game of the 2019-20 league season before lockdown and suspension of fixtures in March 2020.

Gould had been at Spennymoor since the start of 2018-19 season. His father is goalkeeper Jonathan Gould (Glasgow Celtic) and he is the grandson of prolific striker and manager of Wimbledon's "Crazy Gang", Bobby Gould.

Matthew was brought up in New Zealand and his goalkeeping career began there at Hawkes Bay United (2011). From there, he moved into football in Western Australia (2014) and his first English club was Cheltenham Town, a club he joined early in the 2014-15 season. From there he had a loan at Bishop's Cleeve (2015) before heading up to Scotland where he played for Livingston (2015/16)in a spell which included a loan to Stenhousemuir.

Early in 2016 he went, at first on loan, to Stourbridge where, in 2017-18, he played against Alty in the NPL. At the end of that season, he joined Spennymoor Town where he kept 20 clean sheets in 50 games in 2018-19. In the play-off final against Chorley, who had beaten Alty on penalties in the semi-final, Gould saved two penalties in the shoot-out.

He made his debut in the CSC at Barnton on 4 November 2020.

But despite being a regular at Spennymoor, at Altrincham he did not make his league debut until 3 May 2021 at Solihull and, indeed, over the whole season was only named on the bench for four other league games. In cup matches he played once, in the Cheshire Senior Cup, and was an unused sub for two other ties.

Injury in a pre-season match in summer 2021 was a factor in his exclusion from the first four matchday squads of 2021-22 before, on 24 September 2021, it was announced that he was going to Nantwich Town, on dual registration, to regain match fitness. Owing to injury to Tony Thompson, Matt was recalled from Nantwich on 13 October 2021, having made five appearances in which just three goals were conceded.

But Matt then returned to Nantwich Town and whilst there, in January 2022, he was called up to the New Zealand international squad for matches in the Middle East but was not a used substitute. It was also announced, in early February, that Matt would remain on loan at Nantwich till the end of the season.

In addition to his role at Altrincham, Matt also coaches the under-18s and under-23s at Wigan Athletic.

Liverpudlian Tony Thompson made his first appearance for Alty in a pre-season game on 8 July 2017. In 2016-17 he had played on loan from AFC Fylde for Warrington Town but he started out with Rotherham United (2012), from where he had loan spells with Chelmsford City and Southport in 2014-15 before he joined Morecambe, where he played one League Two game. Later in 2015-16, he moved to Chester FC before joining AFC Fylde in 2016.

He made his league debut on 15 August 2017, away v. Nantwich Town as the early part of 2017/18 saw him sharing first-team duties with Tim Deasy. However, he soon established himself as the regular first choice for the remainder of the season.

However, he lost his starting place to Elliot Wynne before the end of August 2018, only to win it back, and lose it again in February 2019 when the experienced Steven Drench was signed. Having started the 2019-20 season as no.2 he regained his place in game seven after Drench suffered a serious Achilles injury and Tony deservedly retained the no.1 role for the remainder of the season.

By trade, Tony is a scaffolder. During 2020-21, in the occasional absences of Jake Moult, Tony has captained the side. After being an ever-present in 2021-22, Tony suffered a calf injury at Yeovil on 12 October 2021 and was sidelined for several weeks before returning as first-choice keeper.

Following the club's decision to move to a full-time playing squad, he opted to leave the club, a decision announced by Altrincham FC on 11 May 2022.

Altrincham appearances to end of 2020/21 season: 169.

Centre-half Jake arrived on a one-month loan from Rotherham United on 1 February 2022. On 4 March it was announced that his loan had been extended till the end of the 2021-22 season.

Raised in Sheffield, he was a forward in the Sheffield United youth system before converting to a defensive role.

At Rotherham he had made three EFL Trophy appearances for Rotherham United before his arrival at Moss Lane.

He has previous non-League experience, having had two loan spells at Gateshead in 2019-20 and 2020-21, making 29 appearances for The Heed before he also made two appearances for Hartlepool United in 2021.

Indeed, in March 2021 he was an unused sub at the J. Davidson Stadium as Alty hosted Hartlepool behind closed doors.

In 2021-22 season, he made eleven appearances and scored three goals when on loan at National North Darlington before he returned to Rotherham a fortnight ahead of his arrival at Altrincham, where he made his debut at centre-back on 5 February 2022.

Signed initially on a month's contract on 12 September 2008, Shaun is a former Everton Academy Player of the Year, who was released by the Toffees in summer 2008. After trials with Bradford City he joined Altrincham. A hardworking right-footed defender/midfielder, Shaun made his Alty debut on 16th September 2008 at ho,me to Vauxhall Motors in the CSC.

On 13 October 2008 he signed on for the rest of 2008-09 season, having impressed in a run of seven unbeaten games in the side.

The son of former Altrincham player of the 1980s, Peter Densmore, Shaun followed his father into the England semi-pro international side and scored on his debut for England "C" side against Malta in February, 2009. sadly, he picked up a medial ligament injury in February 2011 which sidelined him till the latter part of the season but he returned to full fitness before the end of the season.

A regular starter in 2011-12 in central midfield, Shaun was named captain on the departure of Robbie Lawton in November, 2011, a role assumed by Jake Moult in 2017. Most of his appearances have been at right-back but he is also impressive in midfield and a capable left-back. His wholehearted approach and his excellent freekicks make him a key member of the team. His 2014-15 season was disrupted by injuries as was 2015-16 when he suffered two significant injuries by mid-October and in early January 2016 it was announced that a knee operation would terminate his season. He also missed much of 2016-17 through injuryl.

Following the resignation of manager Neil Young on 28 August 2016, Shaun, along with Alan Goodall and Jake Moult, was appointed to a joint caretaker-management role before the brief tenure of Jim Harvey. Shaun made a welcome but brief return to playing action on 6 December 2016 in the FA Trophy but was then sidelined again by injury for much of the remainder of that campaign. In 2017-18 he initially started mostly played as left-back, alternating in that role with Lewis Short, before re-establishing himself at right-back with some outstanding performances. By the closing stages of the season he was back to his best but an injury curtailed his appearances in the final games and another injury early in 2018/19 season also sidelined Shaun.

2018/19 and 2019/20 have seen Shaun mainly in a substitute's role, in which was extremely dependable. Shaun re-established himself as first-choice right-back in October 2019 but season 2020-21 has seen him largely confined to the bench following the emergence at right-back of Joel Senior. He then fractured his arm in the game against Bromley which sidelined him again. After a testimonial match was held to mark his long service, and following the club's decision to move to a full-time playing squad, he opted to leave the club, a decision announced by Altrincham FC on 11 May 2022.

On 29 June 2021, Altrincham FC announced the signing of 6ft 4inch central defender Kennedy Digie. His most recent club had been Hereford FC but he had previously played against Altrincham for Guiseley in January 2020 as well as being an unused sub against Alty on a couple of occasions, including for Kidderminster Harriers in 2018.

Digie had joined Hereford in October 2020 having previously emerged from the youth system at Kidderminster Harriers in a spell which included two months on loan at York City and other loans at Midlands clubs Hednesford Town, Halesowen Town, Worcester City, Stourbridge and Nuneaton Town.

After his time at Aggborough, which included twelve first-team starts, he signed for Guiseley for a "nominal sum" in February, 2019, a club for whom he went on to play 22 league games before moving to Hereford.

A cartilage injury curtailed his pre-season and he underwent an operation in early September 2021. He finally made his debut in early November 2021 at Gateshead in the FA Cup. After 8(+2) appearances his departure, on a month's loan to Farsley Celtic, was announced on 21 February 2022.

Centre-back Kyle's arrival at Moss Lane, on a short-term contract, was announced on 25 February 2022.

In 2021, the 6ft 4 inch defender had been playing for Waterford in the Republic of Ireland, whose season had ended in November 2021.

Unsurprisingly, given his father Barry's career with Rangers, it was at that club that Kyle started out, with spells with Kilmarnock, Airdrie and Clyde (2016-18|) all featuring on his CV.

He also spent time in the USA on a football scholarship with Medaille College and prior to joining Waterford he had been playing for Ytterhogdals IK in Sweden.

Kyle has also done some modelling in the past.

Will is a tall central defender who impressed as a trialist in summer 2020. Formerly at Salford City, he was first named in an Alty first-team squad on 11 November 2020 against Solihull Moors. In October 2020 it had been announced that Will had gone on dual registration forms to play for Whitchurch Alport.

He was allocated a squad number for 2021-22 and appeared in several pre-season games before it was announced on 13 August 2021 that he would be going on loan to his home-town club of Ramsbottom United, a loan which was extended for a further month in mid-September 2021. However, after a further extension and sixteen appearances for The Rams, he was recalled in mid-November and went on loan immediately to Ashton United.

A tall left-back, who can also operate as a central midfielder, Connor joined Altrincham, initially on a month's loan, from Stockport County on 2 November 2017. His debut came on 4 November 2017, home v. Buxton

Prior to arriving at Moss Lane, he had been at Edgeley Park since February 2017, when he had joined from Curzon Ashton, but injury sidelined him before the end of the 2016-17 season at County. Connor had previously been at the Tameside Stadium since 2011. His impressive performances for Alty prompted an extension of his loan period into 2018. He missed several games in the Spring of 2018 through injury before returning for the run-in where he played well at centre-back.

A broken hand kept him out of the side during August and September 2018 before he returned to be a regular starter at left-back. At the start of 2019-20 he acted as captain in the injury absence of Jake Moult but after starting the first eleven league games, a foot injury cost him his place and he was then sidelined by the good form of Shaun Densmore. However, he reclaimed his place for the final eleven league matches and played an important role in the trio of play-off games which secured promotion.

Injury limited his appearances in 2020-21 and he was unavailable for the start of 2021-22, awaiting a hernia operation. He made a spectatcular return on 12 October 2021 when he was required to play in goal for some eighty minutes after injury to Tony Thompson at Yeovil and he produced important stops as Alty secured a 1-1 draw. However, he was again sidelined by injury over Christmas and into 2022.

Outside football, Connor teaches in a primary school.

Tom Hannigan, who was the captain of AFC Fylde, joined Altrincham on 23 May 2016. A very reliable central defender, Tom had joined AFC Fylde in summer 2014 from Vauxhall Motors who were then in Conference North. In his first season with Fylde he was named "Manager’s Player of the Season". Earlier in his career, Tom was released by Tranmere Rovers, aged 16, and then studied for ‘A’ levels before completing a degree at Hallam University.

He made his Altrincham debut on 6 August 2016 at home to Darlington. Sadly, Tom picked up a knee medial ligament injury in only his second competitive game and was ruled out for a substantial period. His season was further disrupted by suspension and another injury, in Spring 2017, which prematurely terminated his season. However, he recovered to start the 2017-18 campaign and put in some assured performances before injury again sidelined him in late October 2017. However he again recovered and his consistency and experience were an important factor in Alty's strong run-in for the league title in 2018.

2018/19 saw him again as first-choice left-sided centre-back, a role he has continued to execute with consistently good performances in subsequent seasons. He had been a virtual ever-present in 2021-22 until injury sidelined him in January 2022.

Following the club's decision to move to a full-time playing squad, he opted to leave the club, a decision announced by Altrincham FC on 11 May 2022.

Full-back Sean joined Altrincham FC Reserves in summer 2021 after being released by Oldham Athletic a club he had joined ater being with Wigan Athletic. in December 2020 he went on loan from Oldham to Stalybridge Celtic but did not play for the first team at Bower Fold.

After joining Altrincham, he was soon sent out on loan to Trafford FC in the NPL Division One West.

Eddy Jones, a left-back, signed on a season-long loan from Stoke City on 3 February 2022.

He had joined the Potteries club from Bury and he went on to make 12 appearances in a loan spell at AFC Telford United before playing three games in EFL 2 for Hartlepool United at the start of 2021-22 season. His loan spell in the North East saw him make six appearances in all for Hartlepool.

He returned to Stoke in January 2022 before his move to Altrincham, where he made an assured debut at left-back on 5 February.

Eddy has representative honours at under-17 and under-21 for Wales.

Appearances to end of 2020/21 season: 0.

Jamie's arrival at Alty from Chester FC was announced on 3 January 2022. A right-back, he can also play on the right and in midfield.

He started out with Manchester United and Crewe Alexandra but, after his release by the Railwaymen, he joined Sandbach United. From there he signed for Nantwich Town in 2017 where he won a Young Player of the Season award. The following season, he won the Players’ Player, Managers’ Player and Supporters’ Player of the 2018-19 Season awards for the Dabbers.

After 97 appearances and six goals, he moved on to Chester FC in 2019, where his appearances were initially limited, but he won their Goal of the Season award in 2020-21.

Following injury he had a second spell with Nantwich, passing the hundred appearance mark for the club over his two spells at the Weaver Stadium, before returning to Chester in December 2021.

He settled in as regular right-back across Christmas and New Year but lost his place after six successive starts. It was then announced that from 1 March 2022 he would rejoin Nantwich Town on a"two-month loan deal" with manager Parkinson insisting that he had been signed with an eye to the 2022-23 season and that being loaned out was always part of the plan.

Centre-back Toby became the first close-season signing of 2019 when he joined from Nantwich Town in late May 2019.

A product of the Crewe Alexandra youth system, he subsequently joined Nantwich after a year with Leek Town.

He made his debut at home to York City on 3 August 2019 as a used substitute. Soon he joined the starting eleven in the absence of the injured and then suspended Tom Hannigan. After another spell on the bench he held his place after replacing the ill James Jones in early 2020 but again reverted to the bench on Jones's return.

After Jones had departed to Barrow in summer 2020, Mullarkey started regularly until a broken ankle bone sidelined him in late October 2020. However, he returned to action after mising twelve league fixtures and has featured both at centre-back and in midfield. After being ever-present in 2021-22 he suffered concussion at Yeovil and was sidelined for ten days from 12 October 2021 before returning as a regular starter.

Appearances end of 2020/21 season: 44(+21), 3 goals.

Kwame was an unused sub for the match against Solihull Moors when the squad was stricken by Covid.

He is a centre-back who was with Bolton Wanderers until summer 2020 and since then had been with Alty Reserves and has enjoyed a loan spell with Prescot Cables.

Altrincham appearances end of 2020/21 season: 0.

Altrincham signed Harry on a season-long loan from Accrington Stanley on 18 February 2022. He is a versatile defender who can operate at centre- or right-back.

He joined Stanley at the age of eleven and came through two setbacks, by way of fractures to the arm and ankle, to establish himself at the Lancashire club. After signing professional forms in 2019, he made his first-team debut in the EFL Trophy in March 2021 and had made six first-tam appearances before his loan at Moss Lane. Before joining Alty he had a loan spell at Torquay United.

Appearances to end of 2020/21 season: 0.

Ritchie's signing was announced on 12 August 2020, his previous club being Morecambe. His Alty debut came at Eastleigh on 10 October 2020.

Having started his career at Crewe Alexandra, he had a loan from Gresty Road at Stafford Rangers before signing for the Martson Road club. He later joined Stafford Rangers, Northwich Victoria and Halifax Town before a spell at Nantwich Town.

Ritchie next played for Port Vale in the Football League (2010-11) before spending four years at Mansfield Town (2011-15).

Four more years followed at Tranmere Rovers, during which he had a loan spell with Barrow (2016). He was at Morecambe last season before The Shrimps released him in summer 2020. His first season at Alty included a number of injury absences and he totalled 16(+2) appearances in all, but scored two goals. After a brief substitute appearance in the opening game of 2021-22 he went on loan for a month to Alfreton Town.

He briefly returned to Altrincham in late October 2021 but his loan to Alfreton was then extended to the end of the season.

Andy was signed on 21 December 2017 from Southport, having previously played under manager Phil Parkinson at Nantwich Town. He made his Alty debut on New Year's Day, 2018 at home against Witton Albion.

Andy can operate as a full-back or wing-back on either flank and won Nantwich's Player of the Year award three seasons running and was named in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Team of the Year for the second successive time in 2017.

Andy moved from the Dabbers to Southport in summer 2017. Two-footed Andy played at both right- and left-back during 2018 and for 2018-19 was a regular starter at right-back, a position he has also occupied in 2019-20.

In 2020-21 he was in and out of the side as injuries disrupted his appearances and on 24 March 2021 it was announced that he was to miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury, having started just ten league games in the campaign. He remained injured for the start of the 2021-22 campaign and in early December it was announced that he was going on a month's loan to FC United of Manchester.

He did make a handful of league starts for Alty in the 2022 New Year.

Altrincham announced the loan signing from Salford City of Hayden Campbell on 25 March 2022, till the end of the season.

He had started at Port Vale before joining Salford in September 2000. He has had loan spells at Kidsgrove Athletic, Marine, FC United of Manchester and Stalybridge Celtic.

He made his Salford City debut in November 2020 as a substitute in the EFL Trophy.

Appearances to end of 2020/21 season: 0.

Central midfielder Isaac's signing from Bradford (Park Avenue) "for an undisclosed fee" was announced on Christmas Eve 2021. A former Huddersfield Town product, a club he joined as a nine year-old, he was loaned to Larne in Northern Ireland in January 2019 before joining the Bradford club on loan in 2019-20 season. He made 25 appearances for the West Yorkshire club that season before returning to Huddersfield.

Before his spell in Northern Ireland with Larne, Isaac has also had loan spells at clubs which included Brighouse Town and Warrington Town.

However, following his release by Huddersfield Town in summer 2020, he returned to Yorkshire and signed for Bradford (Park Avenue) where he had made fifteen appearances in 2021-22 before signing for Phil Parkinson at Altrincham. At Bradford he also played as an attacking midfielder and was rewarded with several goals.

However he completed ninety minutes just once in the first eight league fixtures of his Alty career, only actually appearing four times in that period.

Lee Sinnott signed midfielder Jake Moult on a 93-day loan from Alfreton Town in late August 2012 and made his debut on 25 August away at Vauxhall Motors.

Previously, Jake had been a summer trialist at Altrincham in 2008. Born in Stoke on Trent, he joined Alfreton on 1 July 2010, before which he had been with Stafford Rangers. His earlier career was with Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle. Jake is also a very capable centre-back when required.

In early November 2012, Jake formally moved to Altrincham on a free transfer, signing a contract to the end of 2013/14 season. He is the brother of former Wrexham, Motherwell and, later, Preston North End striker Louis Moult and Jake himself has a powerful shot. He was rewarded for his consistently good performances in central midfield with the 2014-15 Players' Player of the Season accolade.

Jake captained the side for much of the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Following the resignation of manager Neil Young on 28 August 2016, Jake, along with Shaun Densmore and Alan Goodall, was briefly appointed to a caretaker-management role before Jim Harvey took over. In advance of the 2017-18 season Jake was appointed team captain and led them to success with many committed performances. In October 2018 he passed the 300-appearances mark for the Club.

A summer operation sidelined Jake for the early part of 2019-200 season before he came on as a substitute at Boston towards the end of August 2019. He re-established himself in the team and continues as captain. However, 2021-22 season has seen his appearances being a little more limited.

Following the club's decision to move to a full-time playing squad, he opted to leave the club, a decision announced by Altrincham FC on 11 May 2022.

On 6 January 2022, following his release by Stevenage of EFL2, Altrincham announced the signing of centre-midlfielder Elliot Osborne.

Osborne is one of Phil Parkinson's many Altrincham signings who had formerly played under him at Nantwich Town. Elliot started out in the youth system at Port Vale but, after the Valiants released him, he joined Staffordshire club Newcastle Town as an 18 year-old in 2014.

In February 2015 he moved across the county border to Cheshire to sign for Nantwich Town where he netted 22 times from midfield. In summer 2016 he signed for Fleetwood Town of League One but in September 2016 he went out on loan to Tranmere Rovers.

In January 2017 he went on another loan, to Stockport County and then Morecambe in League Two at the start of the 2017-18 campaign. However, in early 2018 he was transferred from t Fleetwood to Southport for an undisclosed fee.

In late September 2018 he again went on loan to Stockport County and in November he signed for the Hatterswhere he went on to record 79 appearances and 11 goals.

In summer 2020 he was signed by League Two Stevenage and played 30 games there in 2020–21 season.

He played every minute of his first six league appearances for Altrincham.

The signing of Ben Pringle was announced on 3 August 2021 after he had appeared in three pre-season friendlies. During 2020-21 he had been on the books of League Two Morecambe.

He started out at West Bromwich Albion (2006-07) before returning to his native north-east to play with Newcastle Blue Star and Morpeth Town during the following season.

A return to the Midlands brought 42 appearances for Ilkeston Town in 2008-09 where he earned a move to Derby County (2009-11) during which spell he played five gamnes on loan for Torquay United.

Four years were spent at Rotherham United where he made nearly 150 league appearances and he also enjoyed 15 appearances for Fulham in 2015-16.

After a loan at Ipswich Town, he moved back north to Preston North End from where he was loaned to Oldham Athletic and in 2018-19 to Grimsby Town. Another loan spell followed at Tranmere Rovers before joining Steve Evans at Gillingham in 2019-20. His move to Morecambe followed in 2020.

His appearances for Altrincham have been very largely from the bench.

Reserve forward Niall was drafted into the first-team squad as an unused substitute against Woking on 30 October 2021.

Winger Ryan Colclough made a surprise debut from the Altrincham bench against Bromley on 24 November 2020, having been signed that day on a short-term contract after departing from Scunthorpe United where, ironically, he had been keeping Alty loanee Andy Dales out of the side.

On 12 December 2020, after just one start and two appearances from the bench for Altrincham, Ryan signed for the club until the end of 2021/22 season.

Earlier in his careeer, after more than three years at Crewe (2012-16), Ryan moved to Wigan Athletic and went on loan from there to MK Dons before signing for Scunthorpe United in August 2018.

On 24 November, 2020 he made his Alty debut at home to Bromley and scored several fine goals before the season concluded. Ryan extended his contract till the end of 2022-23 season, a deal announced on 14 August 2021.

Altrincham appearances end of 2020/21 season: 23(+5), 8 goals.

Before announced on 11 June 2021 as joining Altrincham for 2021-22, Marcus Dinanga most recently had been on loan at Chesterfield, from Stevenage. Indeed, he was named on the bench when the Spireites beat Altrincham 1-0 in February 2021 in Derbyshire.

His early career was with Burton Albion, from where he went on loan to Mickleover Sports.

2016–17 season saw him playing for Matlock Town on loan, followed by a loan at AFC Telford United from the start of the 2017-18 season and he concluded that season as the Bucks' top scorer.

He started 2018-19 with what was intended to be a season-long loan at Hartlepool United but, in December 2018, he left and signed for Telford, netting 14 times, before moving on to Stevenage in August 2020 where he made six appearances, scoring once.

Before his involvement against Alty for Chesterfield this season, he had scored against Alty when the Bucks lost 5-2 at Moss Lane in February 2020. He had also been a substitute for both games against Altrincham at Telford in 2019 and 2020.

Marcus scored on his league debut for Alty at Torquay but, after three goals from eighteen appearances, on Christmas Eve 2021 it was announced that he was going on a month's loan to Kidderminster Harriers. On 1 February he moved on another month's loan to Dartford.

On 22 March 2022 former Radcliffe FC forward Kole Hall, who had featured for Alty Reserves in their most recent game, was named in the first-team squad. He is a Bermudan international who spent a brief spell in 2020-21 at AFC Telford United in National League North.

On 18 March 2022 it had been announced by Radcliffe FC that he had left the club "upon the termination of his contact by mutual consent".

For Radcliffe he had made 31 appearances in the NPL since 2019-20 season and scored five goals. Two more appearances were made for AFC Telford United in 2020-21, without a goal being scored,

Following his short time with AFC Telford United, Hall re-joined Radcliffe in 2021 having been at City of Liverpool n the interim.

After one brief substitute appearance and another game for which he remained on the bench, it was announced on 28 March 2022 that Kole had been loaned to Nantwich Town on dual registration to gain match fitness. However, he returned and made his home debut on 23 April 2022 as a used substitute.

Signed from Nantwich Town in May 2017, Josh is a midfielder who came through The Dabbers' youth set-up before moving on to Winsford United (2009-10). Next, he joined Witton Albion and made more than 150 appearances and scored some fifty times.

He next joined AFC Telford United before a return to Witton, which preceded a move to Salford City and then a return to Nantwich Town in January 2016.

After making his debut on 12 August 2017 at home to Stafford Rangers, he started the season at Alty with four goals in his first six appearanes in league and cup matches and remained the leading scorer for the club in the league into mid-November. He continued to be a vital member of the team to the end of the season, weighing in with important goals.

By March 2018 he had become the club's leading scorer in the league with 14 goals and ended the season as the club's top scorer in the league with twenty goals to his name. He started 2019-20 suspended after being sent off in the play-offs at Chorley in May 2019 and then he picked up a calf injury to interrupt further his 2019-20 season, albeit briefly. 2019-20 saw him a regular starter in the no.10 shirt. A season highlight for Josh was his goal at Fratton Park against Portsmouth in the FA Cup and he ended up the leading scorer in the league.

In 2020-21 he was the club's leading league goalscorer for the third successive season, aided by five penalties. By the end of January 20022 he was again the club's leading scorer with seven goals in all competitions.

Following the club's decision to move to a full-time playing squad, he opted to leave the club, a decision announced by Altrincham FC on 11 May 2022.

Appearances end of 2020/21 season: 161(+14), 71 goals

Jordan Hulme rejoined Altrincham on loan from AFC Fylde in a move announced on 7 January 2022.

He had first signed for Altrincham on 13 July 2017, just after he had left Salford City where he had scored ten times and provided eleven assists in 48 appearances in 2016-17 in National League North. At the time Alty were in the tier below, the Northern Premier League. The previous season he had netted 18 times in 54 appearances for the Ammies.

Jordan's earlier clubs included CMB Sports Club, Walshaw Sports Club, Shevington, Padiham, Ramsbottom United (2012) and New Orleans Jesters (USA). At Ramsbottom, he had scored more than thirty goals in 100 or so appearances before following the Rams' management duo of Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson to Salford City in January 2015.

A versatile player, at previous clubs he has turned out as a right-winger and right-back, as well as striker. By mid-November he had established himself as Alty's leading scorer in all competitions and crowned a fine season as Alty's top scorer, breaking the 30-goal barrier, and the NPL's Player of the Season.

He started 2018-19 with seven goals from eight starts before being suspended for a game and then missed further game time with a persistent eye problem. Nevertheless, he netted nine times in his first ten games of the campaign.

However, a flurry of yellow, and two red, cards meant that he missed more than a quarter of the club's first 30 fixtures in 2018-19 through suspension. Nevertheless, he still finished the season as joint top scorer in all competitions, with twenty goals. When the 2019/20 season was prematurely ended Hulme was again the club's leading scorer in that competition.

In summer 2020 he signed a new two-year contract but, just weeks later, he opted to take lower league AFC Fylde's offer of full-time football, his departure being announced just twenty hours before the start of the 2020-21 season.

However, an unhappy time with The Coasters prompted his return to an Alty side which had lacked a potent striker since his departure. After the end of the season he was released by Fylde and rejoined Alty where, on 21 May 2022, he was announced as captain.

Appearances to end of 2020/21 season: 132(+7), 70 goals.

Jackson's signing by Altrincham for 2021-22 was announced by his former club Chester FC on 14 May 2021 but not confirmed by Alty until the end of that month. His first encounter with Alty had been as a Burnley player in a pre-season game at Moss Lane in 2016; he was with The Clarets from 2015 to 2018, having also had loan spells in that period at Bangor City and Southport.

He joined Ashton United in summer 2018 but, in December 2018, he signed for Chester FC, where he played on the right-wing but he has also played as a right-back.

His most recent game against Altrincham for Chester FC had been in the play-off eliminator match in July, 2020.

Injuries limited him to seven starts before the NLN season 2020-21 was halted by Covid. In all, he made 71 appearances for Chester, scoring five goals and was voted by supporters as part of the squad in the Chester FC Team of the Decade.

He had started just four of the first 27 league matches, largely due to injury and a suspension, before it was announced on 23 December 2021 that he was going on a month's loan to Buxton to regain match fitness.

On 16 August, 2020, Matty Kosylo became the fourth new arrival of the close season as he signed a two-year contract after leaving AFC Fylde. He had joined The Coasters in summer 2019 but had not replicated the success he had enjoyed over a three-year spell at FC Halifax Town, his previous club.

Earlier in his career, wingman Kosylo had played previously under Alty manager Phil Parkinson. That was back in 2014-16 at Nantwich Town, with Matty having begun his career at Stockport County before spells with Salford City, Ashton United, Hyde United and Vauxhall Motors (2013/14).

He left Nantwich for FC Halifax Town, for an undisclosed fee, in July 2016. At the time he was the Evo Stik NPL Young Player of the Year. Kosylo made a great impression in his three seasons at The Shay (2016-19), during which he scored 24 league goals in 74(+5) league appearances for The Shaymen.

Kosylo then joined AFC Fylde in 2019 but relegation in 2020 meant that The Coasters were prepared to release him from his contract to sign for Altrincham.

After his debut at home to Weymouth on 3 October 2020, he was a lively performer till injury limited his appearances in the second half of the campaign. In 2021 he missed a number of games through injury.

A-Jay first appeared for the club in a pre-season game on 27 July 2021 but his signing was not announced until 7 August.

His career started at Crewe Alexandra where, during a six-year stay, he enjoyed loans to Halifax Town, Newcastle Town, ÍBV (Iceland), and Curzon Ashton.

In summer 2014 he joined Gary Johnson's Yeovil Town for a season and then signed in at Port Vale for 2015-16, ending up as The Valiants' top scorer that season. The next season saw him playing for Shrewsbury Town before a loan-move in 2017-18 to Dundee.

The pattern of changing clubs every summer continued in 2018 as he joined Morecambe where, despite a hamstring injury, he became the Shrimps' top scorer in 2018-19 season.

He made made 23 appearances in EFL2 in 2019-20 but in only eight of those matches did he start and that was followed by just five league appearances for Morecambe in 2020-21 season before he was released.

His Alty games have been mainly from the bench but he has proved an adept finisher when given the opportunity.

A product of the Altrincham FC youth team, Curtis's development was hampered by a long-term injury, before Phil Parkinson included him in the first-team squad for 2019-20. Despite often warming up with the first team, his only appearance before 2020 was in the Cheshire Senior Cup at Stalybridge in December 2019. He made his league debut at Gateshead on 18 January 2020 as a used substitute.

During 2019-20 he also turned out for Trafford FC under dual registration arrangements.

After six appearances from the bench in the National League in 2020, it was announced on 12 December 2020 that Curtis was going on loan for an unspecified period to Nantwich Town.

Curtis had a delayed start to pre-season in 2021 through injury and on 13 June 2021 it was announced that he would be re-joining Trafford on loan.

Daniel arrived at Altrincham from Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee and made his debut on 1 February 2020 at home to AFC Telford United.

The signing of the left-footed wingman was unveiled on 4 February 2020 and he made an impressive debut that evening, on the right wing, against AFC Telford United. He had previously played against Altrincham for Chester FC and Ashton United whilst on loan spells from the Fleetwood club, for whom he made two first-team appearances. He holds a number of Wales under-21 international caps.

His 2020-21 season was disrupted by injury and made just 13 starts and ten appearances from the bench. 2021-22 promised to be better as he completed seven of the first ten fixtures but since then he failed to play for 90 minutes in any of the next 17 league fixtures (to early February 2022).
