Justin AMALUZOR (d.o.b. 17 October, 1996 in Southwark, London) formerly no.11

Justin's arrival from Aldershot Town for an undisclosed fee was unveiled on 22 June 2023.

Having started at Luton Town and, after a brief spell at Dartford, Justin spent three years at Barnet (2015–2018) where he made 19 appearances.

Loans at Hayes & Yeading United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Bognor Regis Town preceded his departure from The Hive for Braintree Town (2018/19), which was followed by a spell with Maidstone United (2019/21).

2021–2022 saw him up in Scotland at Motherwell, where he played 13 times, before he spent 2022-23 season at Aldershot.

In 2016, whilst at Barnet he changed to using his current name having previously been known as Justin Nwogu.

As a winger he is said to prefer to play on the right flank but to cut in and deliver with his left foot, skills he soon displayed in the 2023-24 campaign. He wears the name "Justin" on his shirt-back and he made an impressive start to his Altrincham career with his electric pace and a number of goals.

His 2024-25 season was disrupted after game 15 and he missed the next 13 league fixtures through injury before returning at Oldham in February 2025.

Justin opted to join an EFL side at the end of the season.

James GALE (d.o.b. 20 December 2001) formerly no.9

Striker James Gale (height 1.94m) spent his early football career, until the age of 14, in the Derby County youth system.

He then joined another Derbyshire club, Long Eaton United, leaving them in 2021 to join Mansfield Town where he was to make 6 starts and a further 31 appearances from the bench in EFL2 across seasons 2021-22 to 2023-24. He scored 4 times in EFL2.

Whilst there, he went out on loan to Guiseley, where he made 11 appearances in 2022.

Mansfield were promoted to EFL 1 in 2024 and James signed a two-year contract.

However, he was not to make any EFL1 appearances as Mansfield loaned him to Solihull Moors [8(+9) appearances and 3 goals from summer 2024 to January 2025] and then Boston United [3+(17) appearances and 3 goals in 2025].

In all he scored six times and enjoyed 1,053 minutes of game time in the National League whilst at Solihull and Boston in 2024-25.

In pre-season 2025, Gale scored in all of the first four fixtures and started 11 of the opening 16 league fixtures, scoring three times.

On 24 January 2026 his departure on a free transfer to Maclesfield FC was announced with the player having made 18(+5) league appearances in which he netted four times.

In addition he made 3(+1) cup appearances in which he added a further goal to his account. Overall, therefore his appearances amounted to 21(+6) and his goals tally to six.

Jack HINCHY (d.o.b. 30 January 2003 in Swindon, Wiltshire )

On 1 October 2025 Jack's arrival on loan from Notts County till the end of 2025 was announced. A product of Stockport County he arrived after making a single appearances for County before he left them in 2021.

A central midfielder, he had left Stockport for Brighton & Hove Albion where he captained their under-21s. In February 2024 he was loaned to Shrewsbury Town where he made 12 appearances.

He has since made 19 appearances for Notts County. At Altrincham he made his debut at Wealdstone on 4 October 2025 but when managher Phil PArkinson was sacked soon afterwards, his game time was extremely limited u nder his replacement, Neil Gibson.

As a consequence his loan was curtailed when Notts County recalled him, a move announced on 12 December 2025.

Altrincham appearances: 2(+4), 0 goals

James JONES (d.o.b. 13 March 1997) formerly no.16

James's return to Altrincham was unveiled on 28 July 2022 after he had rejected a contract renewal at EFL2 club Barrow.

James first played as a trialist for Alty in July 2017 but, in August, decided to try his luck elsewhere. However, he returned to sign for Altrincham in time to make his competitive debut on 23 August 2017.

Before joining Altrincham, James had spent three seasons with Welsh Premier club The New Saints, progressing from their Academy to first team. His first season at Alty was slightly curtailed by a hamstring injury shortly before the end of the campaign.

But 2018-19 saw him establish himself as the regular partner for Tom Hannigan at the heart of the Altrincham defence.

That season he was a virtual ever-present and he started 2019-20, once more, as first choice in the right-sided centre-back role until illness briefly cost him his place in New Year 2020. However, what turned out to be an excellent 2019-20 season culminated in his decision to leave Altrincham for Barrow in the Football League, a decision announced on 19 July 2020.

After retrurning to Moss Lane and starting eight of the first nine games of 2022-23, James lost his place to Jake Cooper but soon re-established himself as a regular starter. From 2023-24 he was the senior professional at the club and it was not surprising that on 22 July 2023 it was announced that James would be the team captain for the season.

He again started regularly at the start of 2023-24 before temporarily losing his place. Then an injury necessitated a shoulder operation in the Christmas season of 2023 and he missed the rest of the season.

Out of contract in summer 2024, he was invited back to pre-season to prove his fitness and he was re-signed as was announced on 9 July 2024 .

Altrincham appearances: 191(+18), 19 goals.

Regan LINNEY (d.o.b. 12 May 1997 in Preston) formerly no.9

On 3 February, 2023, it was announced that Regan had become the club's ninth signing inside a three-week period. However, he was the first of that clutch to be a permanent signing, for an undisclosed fee, rather than a loanee.

Linney joined from NPL side FC United of Manchester FC United, a club that he had joined in 2019 from Bamber Bridge for whom he made his debut in 2015.

The striker had made 133 appearances for FCUM and netted 61 goals before signing for the Robins. His debut came off the bench against Wrexham on 4 February 2023 and he soon impressed, scoring three times (including two penalties) in his first five outings for Alty, two of which were games in which he was a substitute.

But in 2023-24, having scored three times in the first six fixtures, he was sidelined by injury and missed eleven league matches before returning to action and scoring regularly, including a number of penalties.

Regan was not fully fit for the start of the 2024-25 season and his minutes on the pitch, accordingly, were limited initially but he scored regularly before it was announced on 1 October 2024 that he had extended his contract for an unspecified period.

By early 2025 he was the leading scorer in the National League and he ended the season as Alty's leading scorer with 25 goals in all competitions.

On 30 May 2025 it was announced that Linney had joined fellow National League side Cartlisle Uniyed.

He had spent two and a bit seasons at the J. Davidson Stadium. His first season was affected by an eleven-game injury absence and he completed 2022-23 with 8 goals from 15(+5) appearances.

The 2023-24 season brought 24(+11) appearances and 15 goals, whilst 2024-25 season was his most fruitful with 42(+6) appearances and 25 goals. Overall, therefore, he made 81(+22) appearances and scored 48 times.

Altrincham appearances: 81(+22), 48 goals

Alex NEWBY (d.o.b. 21 November, 1995 in Barrow) formerly no. 10

Left-winger Alex arrived at Altrincham on loan from Colchester United. That move was announced on 21 September 2023 as, initially, a loan until 2 January 2024. But it was subsequently extended by a month. Alex had previously played against Alty, notably for Chorley.

A Barrovian, he is the twin brother of Elliot Newby who had two successful loan spells at Altrincham.

Alex arrived at Moss Lane with a wealth of higher level experience, having made 108 EFL appearances. For Rochdale he made 54(+20) appearances and scored 12 goals. At Colchester United he played 17(+17) matches and scored three times. So, overall he had 71(+37) EFL appearances to his credit and had scored 15 goals in those matches.

Alex scored for Alty within five minutes of his debut, against Ebbsfleet United, on 23 September 2023. His permamnent signing by Altrincham was revealed on 30 January 2024 by which time he had made 20 appearances, all but two of them being in the National League. In those 18 league games he had scored six times at the time of his signing for the Robins.

He continued his good form into 2024-25 season playing most effectively in the number ten role. He netted 15 times during the campaign and contributed many assists.

Despite an offer of improved terms, he chose to follow team-mate Linney out of the club, signing for York City of 2025-26.

Altrincham appearances: 86(+5), 28 goals

Elliot OSBORNE (d.o.b. 16 May 1996) formerly no.6

On 6 January 2022, following his release by Stevenage of EFL2, Altrincham announced the signing of centre-midfielder Elliot Osborne.

Osborne is one of Phil Parkinson's many Altrincham signings who had formerly played under him at Nantwich Town. Elliot started out in the youth system at Port Vale but, after the Valiants released him, he joined Staffordshire club Newcastle Town as an 18 year-old in 2014.

In February 2015 he moved across the county border to Cheshire to sign for Nantwich Town where he netted 22 times from midfield. In summer 2016 he signed for Fleetwood Town of League One but in September 2016 he went out on loan to Tranmere Rovers.

In January 2017 he went on another loan, to Stockport County and then Morecambe in League Two at the start of the 2017-18 campaign. However, in early 2018 he was transferred from Fleetwood to Southport for an undisclosed fee.

In late September 2018 he again went on loan to Stockport County and in November he signed for the Hatters, where he went on to record 79 appearances and 11 goals.

In summer 2020 he was signed by League Two Stevenage and played 30 games there in 2020–21 season.

He played every minute of all but two of his 23 league appearances for Altrincham in 2021-22 and was an ever-present starter in 2022-23 by October 2022 but, in the latter part of the season, he was often a used substitute. However, 2023-24 saw him playing well as a regular starter once again and in 2024-25 he was again a mainstay of the side in midfield.

However, he was unfit to start the 2025/26 season, only making his first appearance in the league in game number seven of the campaign. He went on to play virtually every minute of Neil Gibson's first seven league fixtures, but he was released by mutual agreement in a move announced on 9 January 2026.

Altrincham appearances 165(+28), 4 goals.

Harvey RANDLE (d.o.b. 15 September, 2003) formerly no.30

Harvey was unexpectedly named on the bench in the fourth fixture of 2024-25 season, having not figured in the summer warm-up friendlies. Randle had recently left Coventry United and had been "in advanced talks with West Bromwich Albion".

He started out with Derby County under-18s before going on loan to Alvechurch, in the Southern League Premier Division Central, from where he was loaned to Coventry United in the United Counties League before returning to Alvechurch.

After a number of inclusions on Altrincham's National League bench, Harvey made his debut in the Cheshire Senior Cup on 1 October 2024, when his series of fine saves saved his team from heavier defeat.

He made his National League debut on 16 November 2024 against Southend United and kept a clean sheet.

Dislocated fingers sidelined Harvey early in 2025 but he returned to be named on the bench in mid-February 2025. He left the club in summer 2025 and soon joined AFC Telford United.

Altrincham appearances: 5(+2)

Mikey STONE (d.o.b. 29 May 2004 at Wythenshawe, Manchester) formerly no.28

On 4 December 2025, midfielder Mikey was announced as a contracted player by manager Neil Gibson after training at the club for the previous six weeks.

Following a spell at Huddersfield Town, he had joined Hamilton Academical in August 2025 but the Scottish club then had an embargo placed on it which prevented the move happening.

His contract at Hamilton was set to run to 31 May 2026 and followed a pre-season with the Scottish club after leaving Huddersfield Town that summer.

He was an unused sub for the FA Trophy game at AFC Telford but on 5 January 2026 it was announced that he had "moved on to pastures new".

Altrincham appearances: 0

Remi THOMPSON (d.o.b. 1 June 2002) formerly no.28

Remi was a surprise signing having appeared only as an 83rd minute substitute on the right-wing in the final game of 2024 pre-season fixtures. However, he made no further appearances before 31 October when it was announced that he would be joining Chadderton club, AVRO, on loan.

Remi was with Fulham, Manchester United and Huddersfield Town as a youngster but made his professional bow in Ireland with Waterford.

Keaton WARD (d.o.b. 4 May 2000 in Mansfield) formerly no.10

Central midfielder Keaton Ward was announced on 26 May 2025 as Phil Parkinson's first summer signing, following the expiry of the player's contract at Boston United.

He started out at hometown club, Mansfield Town in 2019, moving later that year to Barnsley, though he made no first-team appearances for either club.

From Oakwell he had brief loans at FC United of Manchester, Gainsborough Trinity and Ilkeston Town.

He rejoined Mansfield Town in 2021 making 15 appearances as well as featuring in 22 games on loan at Telford United.

He spent 2022-23 at Kettering Town before joining Boston United in 2023, where he went on to make 86 appearances in which he scored ten times.

Having made his Alty debut in the opening match of the season, his appearances became less regular, with only nine starts recorded in the first sixteen fixtures.

On 8 January 2026 it was revealed that his contract had been terminated and he had signed for Gateshead, at the time bottom of the National League.

Altrincham appearances 14 (+12), 2 goals

Billy WATERS (d.o.b. 15 October 1994) formerly no.29

On the morning of Alty's trip to Wealdstone on 4 October 2025, in which he was to make his debut from the bench, the club announced the loan signing of experienced forward Billy Waters from Oldham Athletic

A well-known face to Altrincham he had previously featured for at least five sides in games against The Robins (Cheltenham Town, Curzon Ashton, Chester FC, FC Halifax Town and Oldham Athletic)

Billy started out at Crewe Alexandra where he made 25 appearances (2013-15) before moving to Cheltenham Town where he racked up 83 games.

Northampton Town followed (2017-20) and Torquay United (2020-21) 44 games for FC Halifax Town wqere then folowed by 32 at Barrow.

A stay at Wrexham (2023-25) saw him loaned out to Doncaster Rovers and FC Halifax Town, before he joined Oldham Athletic in 2025.

Waters stay was an unhappy one. Booked within minutes of joining both his debut game and his second match from the bench, in his third appearance he suffered a PCL knee injury which ended his loan. In all he played for just 34minutes excluding added time in the matches in which he appeared.

His return to Oldham was confirmed by Phil Parkinson on 21 October 2025. However, by 29 November he had returned to the J. Davidson Stadium and was seen lapping the pitch before the game against Scunthorpe United. But he never appeared again in a matchday squad, his return to Oldham being announced on 6 January 2006 after just 34 minutes of action and two yellow cards across three substitute appearances.

Nevertheless he was never on the losing side in two draws and a win.

Altrincham appearances :  0(+3), 0 goals

George WILSON (d.o.b. 10 March, 2001 in Todmorden) formerly no.19

George was announced as a new signing on 24 June 2023, with manager Parkinson stating that he would go out on loan for the 2023-24 season at National League North level. The Alty manager described him as a "box to box midfielder" though earlier in his career he had been a right-back.

Before joining Coalville in summer 2022 on a season-long contract, George had played for Loughborough University and for third-tier Swedish club Ljungskile SK. However, an injury sidelined him after his second appearance in September 2023 before he returned to action in late November and established himself as a regular starter until red-carded near the end of the season.

He was re-contracted for an unstated period in summer 2024. Having put in some good performances in 2024-25 season he wassidelined by injury after Christmas 2024 and was still out of action as February 2025 drew to a close.

Appearances to end of 2024/25 season: 39(+24), 3 goals.
