HOW TO GET TO MOSS LANE

.

Altrincham Town Centre Road Works, to November 2007

Those travelling to Moss Lane from July to November will find roadworks complicating their route, especially if they are travelling from the north. Phase two of the upgrade to the main road through Altrincham started on 9 July. This will improve lighting, landscaping and paving on Stamford New Road and Railway Street. From 8 July there has been a southbound diversion betwen The Downs and Moss Lane with traffic directed, right, up Lloyd Street, Manor Road, Oakfield Road and Stockport Road. Northbound, Stamford New Road and Railway Street will remain open. The work goes on till 18 November.

Those heading to Altrincham FC who are following this diversion, should turn right from Oakfield Road into Moss Lane at the second set of traffic lights outside Tesco. The ground is half a mile further down Moss Lane on the left. (See map links here).

Metrolink upgrading work was completed by the end of August 2007 and normal services have been resumed from late August 2007 from Manchester to Altrincham, though parts of the line from Manchester, north to Bury, remain closed till late September 2007.

Meanwhile in the main shopping area of Altrincham, in George Street, the multi-storey carpark (accessed from High Street) is to be demolished and a new car park created in 2008. From 2 July 2007 the multi-storey has been closed apart from the rooftop level and from 10 July that level has been accessed via a ramp off Post Office Street.

    2007-08 PRICES

    .

Grahame Rowley, on behalf of the Board of Altrincham Football Club, has announced the following prices for 2007-08. Please note that matchday turnstitle prices have been amended since it was announced that we would be staying in the Blue Square Premier and would not be relegated to the Blue Square North division. This means that season tickets are now even better value as they cover 23 home games rather than the 21 played in the Northern division.

Grahame writes "We are introducing a new under-14s' season ticket and are also maintaining the £10 discount on all adult, junior and concessionary season tickets purchased before 30 June 2007. We hope that we can rely on your support again during the forthcoming season and look forward to seeing you at Moss Lane in July for the friendlies".

    Turnstile Prices

  • Standing - Adults £12; Concessions / Juniors (14-16yrs) £7
  • Seating - Adults £14; Concessions / Juniors (14-16yrs) £8
  • Under 14s - £2

    Season Ticket Prices

  • Standing - Adults £170; Concessions / Juniors (14-16yrs) £80
  • Seating - Adults £210; Concessions / Juniors (14-16yrs) £90
  • Under 14s - £35

If a Concessions / Junior or Adult season ticket is purchased before June 30th a £10 discount on the above prices can be applied.
