This was the last game of the season and the opposition were the bottom team in the league, who had already conceded more than 100 goals. Altrincham played flat out from the start and the catalogue of goals started in the first minute with Deegan's strength getting him through the defence to score. Deegan made it 2-0 to the visitors after just seven minutes. Then Ryan Stewart set up Chris Waugh who finished with an awesome shot for his first goal of the season (11 mins). Soon afterwards, Alty captain Lee Hendley made it 4-0 after 18 minutes.

The goals kept coming and, after 30 minutes Hendley netted again to make it 5-0. Three minutes later Adam Walker made it six and, on half-time, Ben Deegan completed his hat-trick to give Alty a 7-0 interval lead (45 mins). It was Deegan's eighth goal in his last four games.

At the break, Ben Robson came on for John Parker-Chambers. Ten minutes into the half, Ryan Stewart scored his first goal of the season but he was then substituted by Anthony Davies. On the hour, Arron Hevingham also scored his first goal of the season to make it 9-0. After Deegan had been replaced by James Monaghan, the substitute scored goal number ten to complete the scoring.

Six of this squad will still be eligible for Altrincham Youth next season but the outgoing players ended the season with three of them scoring their first goal of the season in this match.
