  • PETER EALES: Signed during the close leason following six seasons with South Liverpool. A fearless goalkeeper and a Premler League "character".
  • STAN ALLAN: Now in his second season, previously with Kirkby Town and Skelmerslale.
  • MICKY BROOKE: Defender, signed the middle of last season from Ellesmere Port.
  • BARRY ASHWORTH: Now in his second spell with Altrincham, following a season with ElIesmere Port. League experience with Stockport, Southend and Chester.
  • GERRY CASEY: Centre-half, signed at the end of last season from Tranmere Rovers.
  • BRIAN TAYLOR: 6ft. 3in. and club captain, Now in his seventh season, previously with Rochdale.
  • JOHN OWENS: Former British University player, now in his second season.
  • GRAHAM HEATHCOTE: Aged 18 and product of the Altrincham coaching system. A clever winger who should reach soccer heights.
  • TONY BROADHEAD: Now in his third season, formerly with Bangor and Macclesfield, second leading goal scorer last season despite losing half the season due to injury.
  • ANDY WINDSOR: Former amateur international and last season's leading goal scorer.
  • JOE PRITCHARD: Signed from Ellesmere at the end of last season, formerly with Tranmere.
  • PHIL SMITH: Amateur and former British Universities' player. A teacher by profession.
