WHERE AND WHEN?

The Altrincham v Barnsley game will take place at the J. Davidson Stadium, Moss Lane, Altrincham WA15 8AP at 3pm on Saturday, 7th November. Kick off is at 3pm.

Altrincham FC's ground is situated on the corner of Moss Lane and Golf Road, less than ten minutes' walk from Altrincham town centre. As the town-centre end of Moss Lane is one-way, leading away from the ground, there is no vehicular access to the ground from the town centre from the junction with Stamford New Road. Please follow the directions below to get to the ground.

For Altrincham Supporters:

Tickets for Altrincham supporters are on sale at the J Davidson Stadium as follows. (As is the case with all cup games, Altrincham FC season tickets are NOT valid for this match).

Ticket sales all week (Mon-Fri) are from 10am to 7pm. Tickets may only be purchased by cash. The online ticket sales facility has now closed (as of Wednesday midnight).

For Barnsley Supporters:

  • Barnsley FC have advised their supporters that "The Club have been allocated 1400 standing tickets and 250 seated tickets. Tickets will go on sale to season pass holders only at 9am Monday 2nd November, one per season pass... Subject to availability, any remaining tickets will go on general sale from Wednesday 4th November."

    HOW DO I GET TO ALTRINCHAM FC?

    Maps and full directions to the ground by public transport, car or on foot are to be found on the Location Page. This page also gives car parking details.

    It is understood that the police have nominated the King George pub as the away supporters' hostelry. It is located on Moss Lane (200 yards beyond the ground if travelling from the town centre).

    INSIDE THE GROUND

    ALL Barnsley supporters attending Saturday's Emirates FA Cup tie at the J. Davidson Stadium on Saturday will be admitted via the turnstiles (1 to 4) at the Hale end of the ground (shown as Away Fans' Turnstiles on the adjacent diagram of the ground). This means that those with away supporters' seating tickets will be directed to the adjacent Family Stand, once they are inside the ground. Turnstiles 5 and 6 will now ONLY be for Altrincham seated supporters, who will be accommmodated in the Main Carole Nash & Family Stand. Home standing supporters must use the Golf Road (Home Fans') turnstiles.

    Turnstiles will be open from 1.30pm; please arrive in good time before kick off. Segregation will be in force. A catering outlet and toilets will be provided for away supporters at the Hale (away) End of the ground.
